Maximum Force that the Meca500 can apply

In our tests, the Meca500 R3 applied a force of 110N (25 pounds) when pushing and pulling at about 150mm above the base of the robot.

 

 

 
The maximum force that can be applied by the end-effector of the Meca500 depends on the coordinates of the contact point with respect to the robot flange, the pose of the robot flange, the robot configurations, and of course, the direction of the force.
